Burning:

I support our current burning by-law and would consider increasing the number of burning days IF we provide continual public education on how to burn properly and alternatives to burning such as leaf composting and chipping.

Leaf compost adds fertility back into the soil and chips make excellent pathways, animal bedding, mulch etc.
